 Lasker Foundation Awards
For 60 years, the Albert Lasker Medical Research Awards have celebrated scientists, physicians, and public servants whose accomplishments have made major advances in the understanding, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and even cure of many of the great crippling and killing diseases of our century. The Lasker Awards have come to be known as America's Nobels and is the most coveted award in medical science. State of the Art, Inc. produced historical, in-depth interviews with each of the 2005 recipients including Nancy G. Brinker, founder of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
